Campaign Update - Hard Work & Grassroots Campaigning Show Progress
The campaign is now in full swing. I have spent a significant amount of my time meeting as many people as I can from each county in the district. Wherever I go there seems to be a recurring theme: people are happy to see that a young man getting involved in the political process. People realize that today's younger generations are leaving our rural communities, and those who do decide to stay are not as involved as younger generations used to be.
The more people I meet and the more I am able to involve people in my grassroots campaign, the more excited I become. Nebraska needs new young leaders to offer innovative solutions to the complicated problems that face us today. Nebraska-especially rural Nebraska-needs leaders that can communicate their problems to the state legislature and to the nation. I believe that my policies are the best fit for District 40, and I hope that I am given the opportunity to represent its needs of and solve its problems.
My plan going forward is to continue to get out in the community and meet all of the people in the district that I can. I can only represent the constituents of District 40 if I know both the issues that are on their minds and the solutions with which they are comfortable. This campaign will be won with a grassroots effort and pure, hard work. No one will work harder than I will because I know that no one wants to represent, or will do a better job of representing, the 40th District than I will.
