Tyson Larson Officially Files for Nebraska State Legislature & Names Nicole Sedlacek as Campaign Treasurer

O'NEILL - Today Tyson Larson officially filed his candidacy for the Nebraska State Legislature's 40th District with the Secretary of State. Larson who is challenging incumbent Merton Dierks said, "Though I have an immense amount of respect for Senator Dierks, I believe rural Nebraska needs young leaders with new ideas that are willing to step up and fight for our communities and ensure that rural Nebraska has a healthy future."

The definition of a recession is two consecutive quarters of negative real economic growth, also known as gross domestic product. GDP is the sum of the nation's consumption, investments, government spending and net exports (that is, exports less imports).

GDP rises when people are consuming, investing and producing. As we all, unfortunately, know, in a recession we are not consuming, investing or producing as much.

Campaign Update - Hard Work & Grassroots Campaigning Show Progress

The campaign is now in full swing. I have spent a significant amount of my time meeting as many people as I can from each county in the district. Wherever I go there seems to be a recurring theme: people are happy to see that a young man getting involved in the political process. People realize that today's younger generations are leaving our rural communities, and those who do decide to stay are not as involved as younger generations used to be.
